Gwadar Port City

Being part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the Silk Route Initiative, Gwadar is a hub of connectivity and holds a place of pivotal importance.
With its deep-sea port, Gwadar is helping to realize China and Pakistan’s goal of a 21st Century Maritime Silk Route, benefiting all of Central Asia and becoming the region’s key entrepôt.

This importance to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor means that Gwadar is developing into an economic hub and improving the livelihoods of those in the region.
Projects planned for the Gwadar Port City are aimed at uplifting Balochistan to its full economic, social, and technical potential, closely integrating it within the economic framework of Pakistan and China.
